WELCOME TO THE EXMOUTH HUB.
Ningaloo
Why Exmouth?
Traditional place name: Palyadi Manu or Nyinggulu
Ningaloo Reef is one of Australia’s most extraordinary marine environments — a UNESCO World Heritage-listed reef where vibrant coral, whale sharks, turtles and manta rays support both incredible biodiversity and the local community’s way of life. But Ningaloo is not immune to climate change. In 2025, the reef experienced its first recorded mass coral bleaching event, highlighting the growing risks facing this precious ecosystem. With ocean warming expected to bring further bleaching threats, Exmouth’s dive and tourism community has a vital role to play in building a stronger collective voice for ocean protection.
